Tech company Intel recently announced a Co-Investment Program (SCIP) that introduces a new funding model to the semiconductor industry.
The Smart Capital Investment Program (SCIP) is the main branch of Intel’s new smart capital approach. The goal being to provide innovative ways to fund growth while creating further financial flexibility. Intel has agreed a partnership with an asset management company and it is expected to enhance the company’s already impressively strong balance sheet. SCIP also provides Intel the ability to replicate the co-investment model with other partners around the world.
SCIP is the main component of Intel’s overall Smart Capital approach designed to allow the company to adapt efficiently to opportunities in the market. Co-investment can also show how private capital becomes unlocked for semiconductor manufacturing growth.
